Fanny Brouyaux is dancer, young choreographer and contemporary dance teacher from Brussels. After 4 years studying at PARTS, she created different side specific performances with the collective OSA Mayor. From 2013 till 2015, she danced for the Moroccan choreographer Taoufiq Izeddiou in «Rev’illusion», a piece inspired by the dreams and disappointments of the Arab Spring. In 2014, she created her first piece”Un Bruit” for which she put together Belgian and Moroccan artists. This piece for 5 dancers and 12 radios, was inspired by the mechanism of rumors, the destructive impact they may have and the fantasies that they can generate. “Un Bruit” was presented at the D-festival in Théâtre Marni, as part of The 50th anniversary of Moroccan immigration in Belgium, at the Open Studios festival in Charleroi Danses, and at the Molendance festival 2016 in its urban version. Today, she dances for different belgian companies (cie La peau de l’autre, Marie Limet and cie Abis, Julien Carlier) and she initiates a new choregraphic project “De la poésie, du sport, etc” inviting an other Belgian performer Sophie Guisset to collaborate.

Fanny will be coaching and co-directing the piece DUST OF MYTHS of Maya Wuytack and Mileen Borgonjon, which will première on Nehna wel Amar wel Jiran Performance Festival in Beirut in the beginning of September.
